Daily Korean Excuse me. Are you a librarian?

<Today's expression>
English: Excuse me. Are you a librarian?
Korean: 실례합니다. 도서관 직원이신가요?
         (sillyehabnida. doseogwan jig-won-isingayo?)

There are many libraries in Seoul. Reading books in the library is free. You must have a library card when you loan out books, but anyone can read books in the library. It is usually divided into a children's opening room and an adult reading room. Some libraries have reading rooms where parents can read books to their children. Many parents in Korea read books to their children. If you do not know anything about the library, you can ask the library staff. Librarians often wear casual wear. If you are not sure who is a librarian, you can ask: 실례합니다. 도서관 직원이신가요?(Excuse me. Are you a librarian?)
